Requirements

 

New Applications
– Simply signed Power of attorney
– Date of first use of the mark in India. If the mark has not been used, the application can be filed on proposed to be used basis.
– Certified copy of priority document, if priority is claimed

 

Renewal
– Simply signed Power of attorney
– Copy of trademark registration certificate

Assignment
– Simply signed Power of attorney
– Notarized Assignment Deed signed by both parties
– Copy of trademark registration certificate

 

Change of Name / Address
– Simply signed Power of attorney stating the new name / address
– Certified / notarized copy of Change of Name / Address document
– Copy of trademark registration certificate
